Effect of Fire on Reinforced Concrete Beams with FRP and Conventional Steel at Limited Time of Fire

Abstract The aim of this study is to investigate the behavior RC concrete beams reinforced with basalt, carbon, glass fiber polymer bars and conventional steel. A comparison between results has been performed effect fire on considering following items: (flexural capacity, deflection crack pattern). It noticeable that use FRP significantly increased ultimate load specimens, where percentage increase ranged 34 - 73 % specimen C-S under static load. greatest was reached beam carbon (CFRP). also noticed able rods increases beams. 45 170 final noted (FRP), efficiency bearing capacity after decreases by 11 18 actual control. As for steel bars, its reduced 15 from capacity.
